Black ooze drips from its fangs to its pallid leg-things. It shudders in primordial ecstasy and lets out a shrill whine that pierces your skull.
A girshling is an (almost always hostile) creature found in Caves of Qud. Some can always be found at the bottom-most layer of Red Rock as a part of the What's Eating the Watervine? quest. (Technically, these are different from normal girshlings, as explained below.)
There two varieties of girshling, the “normal” girshlings, which have the “Girshling” objectID, and a second variety, which has the objectID “RedrockGirshling.”
girshlings of this second variety are the same as regular girshling except that their corpse drop chance is 100% and seeing one triggers the completion of What's Eating the Watervine?'s step of finding a creature.
