All of slam's effects are on-hit and do not need to penetrate a target's armor to apply.
The cudgel used to slam does not need to be in the primary hand.
“Colossal”, for purposes of the skill description, means the creature either weighs at least 2000# or is immune to involuntary movement effects.[1]

Factions That Teach Slam
Slam is not taught by any of Qud's persistent factions. However, procedurally generated factions such as village factions can teach randomly chosen skills as part of their water ritual.
