Based on information that the player has uncovered through the course of the game, they may be presented with dialogue options that cause Barathrum to reveal the true nature of {{f id|Resheph Hologram|Resheph}} and the history of the end of the sultanate.

+* They read or looked at Barathrum's copy of {{favilink|Crime and Punishment}}.
+* They spoke to {{favilink|Mak}} and he told the player why he hates Resheph.
+* They spoke to {{favilink|Geeub}} about the "machine speaker and her ursine apprentice".
+* They spoke to {{favilink|Yla Haj}}.
+For each of these conditions, a different dialogue option will appear for Barathrum during the ascent. However, they all eventually lead back to the same conversation.
