ModGigantic

Gigantic: This item is much heavier than usual and can only be equipped by gigantic creatures. [Additional details vary based on item]

Gigantic is a non-tinkerable mod that can be found on various items. The effect of the mod varies depending on the item it modifies.

For items with a weight of 1 or greater, the item's weight is increased by 4 times its base weight for a total weight multiplier of 5. Items with a weight below 1 instead have their weight set to 4.[1]

On top of the 1.5 value multiplier applied to all items, fixed price trade goods have an additional value multiplier of 3.333 applied, which combined results in roughly 5 times their base value.[2]

Gigantic creatures can equip them as normal, but non-gigantic creatures need two slots for every one the item would normally occupy. A gigantic bronze dagger occupies two hands; a gigantic two-handed carbide hammer, four.

Gigantic does not consume a modification "slot", allowing items to have gigantic as well as three other mods.[3]

Tips

A smooth gemstone produced by a  rock tumbler when it processes a gigantic rough gemstone will also be gigantic and benefit from the same 5 times value multiplier.[4]

Trivia

Gigantic was originally only a cudgel mod. It would deal only +1 bonus damage as well as slam twice as effectively.

Many gigantic items can be bought from  Hamilcrab, cyclopean merchant in the asphalt mines.

Rock tumblers are configured to produce 3 times as many of any gigantic items they process[5][6], however they currently fail to output the additional 2 items.

Due to gigantic not taking up a modification slot, it's possible to have a total of 5 modifications on an item. To achieve this, the player must find an already gigantic item for which at least 3 other mods are applicable, tinker 3 mods onto the item, and then make it extradimensional by manipulating the drops of extradimensional psychic hunters. There are only niche cases where this would be useful to the player, however.

Unlike their non-gigantic counterparts, gigantic chairs and beds will not be broken by gigantic creatures that sit on or sleep in them.[7][8]

Gigantic chairs and beds, when animated, will retain the gigantic modification, but not be gigantic creatures.

The modify wish can be used to create items with this mod.
