If the player has sufficient reputation to enter the holy places of the [[Mechanimist]] faction, this is a peaceful level. If not, they may be forced to confront a variety of dangerous Mechanimists, including {{favilink|Phinae Hoshaiah, High Priest of the Rock}}, in order to make their way to the {{favilink|Baetyl}} and advance the [[Decoding the Signal]] quest.

These deeper levels of Bethesda Susa are not connected to the rest of the level with stairs, and as such are inaccessible without a {{favilink|spiral borer}} or similar means of digging downwards. They are procedurally generated, using the generic 'ruins' tiles and layout, and are populated principally by lower level creatures found elsewhere in Bethesda Susa. Visiting them is optional.
