Desecrated statues of a particular figure are sometimes found in procedurally generated [[village]]s if the villagers disdain that figure.
Note that to desecrate a statue with blood or putrescence, you must use the interaction menu with that statue and choose the {{qud text|[&WD&y]esecrate}} option (simply pouring the liquid onto the statue is not sufficient in itself).
