Snapjaw forts are overworld locations where Snapjaws congregate. They are most common in the Desert Canyons.

Snapjaw forts are common landmarks in Village Quests. They don't have individual names, with each being referred to as "a snapjaw fort".

Snapjaws in snapjaw forts often have better equipment than their wild-roaming equivalents, spawning with steel or even carbide weapons.
