Village Quest

Village quests are procedurally generated quests. They can be initiated by speaking to a village quest-giver in a randomly-generated village. Most randomly-generated villages in the world include one village quest-giver. Starting villages typically include two village quest-givers.

Rewards
For completing the quest, the player is awarded with +100 reputation with the village's faction, plus a choice of one of three random rewards. The possible rewards are:[1]
- ubernostrum injector and two other random tonics
- five random tonics
- portable beehive
- small sphere of negative weight
- symbiotic firefly
- structural scanning bracelet
- precinct navigator
- Corpus Choliys
- 2-3 advertisements
- five white books
- homoelectric wrist warmer
- four random books[2]
- hoversled
- compass bracelet, a random energy cell and a random tonic
- a random one- or two-handed, ordinary (steel, carbide, crysteel etc.) melee weapon
- bio-scanning bracelet
- random-point recoiler
- three random data disks
- magnetized boots
- yeshyrskin slippers
- Schrodinger page from the Annals of Qud (with a preset random faction)
- two random security cards

Energy cell and melee weapon rewards depend on the village's zone tier: cell tier will be within two tier of the village's, and the weapon will be one tier higher than the village's. In both cases, the village's tier is considered to be no less than 2. Other rewards do not depend on tier; notably, grenades are completely random and can always include anything up to a Hand-E-Nuke.
