A ubernostrum injector is a tonic which, when applied, causes the creature to rapidly regenerate health over time and to remove negative effects similar to Regeneration level 1. At the end of the effect, the creature regenerates to remove negative effects one more time, and then recuperates and regrows up to one limb. As with all tonics, ubernostrum tonics provide better effects to True Kin.

Ubernostrum tonics are crafted from <05> and a lover's blossom.

Tips

ubernostrum injectors are one of the few near instant methods of regrowing severed limbs, the other being Regeneration. Its regenerative property makes it an important item, rather than its healing, which is the same as a salve injector. For players who do not need the instant regeneration and are away from danger, sleeping in a regeneration tank in Bethesda Susa or Yd Freehold will regenerate the limb as well. Do bear in mind, regeneration tanks need cloning draughtas well as convalessence to regenerate limbs.

Since it heals the same debuffs as level 1 Regeneration, it can also be used to remove undesirable effects such as itchy skin.

Achievements

An ubernostrum injector can be used to regrow one’s face after having it severed, so that one can wear the severed face on the regrown face, granting the To Thine Own Self Be True Achievement. See Voluntary Dismemberment for a detailed explanation.
