== Tips ==
While it does have the second-best thermal resistances of any armor (only beaten by [[High-energy_thermo_cask|its upgrade]]), it's best used with characters that use a lot of temperature manipulation and heat- or cold-based attacks.
If you only want the thermal resistances, it will likely be better to use {{f|crysteel shardmail}} modded with [[Wooly]] instead, as it will give similar thermal resistances, while also having superior {{AV}}[[AV]], a lower {{DV}}[[DV]] penalty, and providing electrical and acid resistance.
