The linear cannon is a tier 5 rifle that deals 2d122-24 (Avg: 13) Vorpal damage. Although the low base PV means that it will penetrate only the lowest of AV, nothing currently resists vorpal damage. Elemental damage will be afflicted even if the projectile does not penetrate, meaning that anything hit with a linear cannon projectile will always take the full 2d12 damage.
