The mountains are a biome found mostly along the edges of the [[World Map|world map]]. The mountains biome is unique in that the player cannot travel directly to a mountainous area from the world map, but instead must enter the mountains by travelling from a surface zone in a nearby [[World Map#Distance|parasang]].
