Photosynthetic Skin grants the "Bask" activated ability, which when used above ground during the day, will fully replenish the player's [[hunger]] and grant a [[metabolizing]] effect that boosts the player's natural healing rate and [[Quickness]] by mutation level-based amounts. Players with Photosynthetic Skin can still cook on {{favilink|campfire|plural}} to satisfy their hunger as normal.
