Items or equipment with the lacquered mod will not prevent the player themselves from becoming stained with a liquid.

Eligibility for lacquering requires that the object be eligible for 'common' modifications AND at least one of the following:

* The item is made of metal.

* The item is considered armor AND has an AV of at least 2.

* The item is less than 50% springy.
