The trembling dunes were a hidden, unfinished location found in the southwesternmost parasang of the map, in the salt desert. On occasion, the screen shook and the player would take damage from falling rocks.
There were stairs down in each of its zones. If the player took too long to enter, the majority of the rooms would have caved in due to falling rocks.
Two floors below the surface lay two now-removed creatures, the Graftek and the
mindrone, which were found nowhere else.
