I mainly write pages for Factions and Pets. I have many, many thoughts about Caves of Qud. Occasionally, I can put them into words.
I am not fun to talk to, sorry.
Status 06/06/25
- Almost finished un-stubbing the Pariahs page.
- Recalled Bone. Recognized the same prototype of cannibals Caves uses. Where did this idea come from? It belongs on the page.
- I can't read code as well as I should be able to for some of the things I've been writing, and it makes me unhappy.
Status 05/31/25
- Mildly amused by how the Girsh accidentally became spiders.
- Dreaming of one day creating the first balanced Creature mod.
- Thinking about the Orb World. An endless expanse of craterous basalt which cannot exist? Why? How? Where??
- What if you could dive underwater in Caves of Qud? We know the reason why we can't: to release the game on time.
Lake Hinnom is a lovely vacation spot, but I still wonder if the intention for it was always just "Biome That Makes You Slow."
