Adding interpretations to the sultan masks
Howdy! Thank you for adding interpretation to the sultan masks pages! Your additions seem pretty aligned with what I have seen others in the community. A couple of suggestions with your edits:
- We generally add Template:Opinion to sections where deeper interpretation is done
- If possible it would be nice to have linked sources for the translations
- It might be a good idea to put a summary of these sections (the idea that the masks represent a shrinking locus of control for the Sultanate) as a section in the sultan masks pages
- For the
Kesil Face, it is my understanding that “Kesil” was also used historically to describe the constellation Orion (“edges drawn between them sketch the outline of a sashed Fool”). Perhaps the mask describes control over the Orion arm of the Milky Way (“beads of bright and searing light suggest the shape of a medial ewer, and beyond its spout, a vast and timeful structure”), where the real-world Earth resides?
