Ashy Stalagmites generate a constant field of osseous ash, which causes choking damage to those caught within.
The stalagmite has 5000 health and is not treated as a valid target to attack. The player will have to hold Ctrl when pressing a directional key to attack them, or use the "Attack" option in the object's context menu. In either case, the stalagmite will be hard to attack when obscured by osseous ash.
It will also not take 12.5% HP damage when struck by a pickaxe, as it does not count as a wall. As such, chewing through its 5000 health is a difficult task even when equipped with the best armor-piercing vibro-weaponry. They are best handled by avoiding them.
