The weapon fires 9 projectiles each time it is used, and those projectiles can penetrate multiple times due to the flamethrower's extremely high penetration rating. The flamethrower also increases a target's temperature by 4d204-80 (Avg: 42) on hit, which will set most things on fire and cause additional damage.
