This Ruins page describes a type of terrain on the world map. For a more general usage of the term, see Ruins (disambiguation).
ruins
Here crumble the mysterious Eaters' vine-swathed works, spun on the cyclopean lathe in an ageless past. Chrome steeples and parapets that rise above the clutches of shale hint at the labyrinths beneath them.
Ruins terrain is risky for low-level characters, mainly due to a plethora of hostile turrets and other robots. It can be a reliable place to find electric snails if you need the corpse for a fungal infection cure.
