stasis field
A shimmering wall of distorted space-time.
Stasis fields are generated by 
stasis grenades and render creatures and objects inside immobile for a short period of time before dissolving. If the player is trapped in a stasis field, time will appear to advance suddenly. Stasis fields behave like walls, preventing other creatures from passing through them.
