Tongue tyrants also have the unique ability to "hand off" the creature being engulfed to a random adjacent creature that is capable of engulfing. The creature being engulfed must make a [[Strength]] save (difficulty = 30 + tyrant's Strength modifier) to resist being handed off. If the save fails, the target is moved to the adjacent creature's cell and becomes engulfed by that creature instead. Furthermore, an additional {{Heart}}5-6 bleeding damage for one turn is applied to the engulfed creature unless they successfully make a [[Toughness]] save (with a -5 penalty).<ref name="object"/>{{Code Reference|class=EngulfingHandOff}}
