Discharge a clockwork beetle friend is a relic and extradimensional melee weapon power that spawns a friendly clockwork beetle when the weapon strikes anything, even if inanimate. This mod is EMP sensitive, and will use of 1000 or (Tier * 150-100), whichever is higher, charge when a beetle is created. It will increase the difficulty of the item by 3 and complexity by 2.

The weapon's tier has no effect on the strength of the beetle that is spawned, it only affects the energy that is consumed.
