The crystalline halo is a piece of headgear rewarded to the player by Tau upon giving her the Still crystal chime during the quest If, Then, Else. it grants the ability Quicken Mind, which refreshes a random ability on cooldown and has a cooldown of 50 rounds affected by willpower. This is not to be confused with the version granted by wearing the still crystal chime, which refreshes all abilities and has a cooldown of 100 turns.

If the player kills Tau after receiving the crystalline halo, it will turn into a crystalline jile.
