The Children of Mamon are a faction in Caves of Qud who worship Mamon(favilink error!) and the amaranthine prism he wears. The faction consists mostly of goatfolks and goatfolk who have been enthralled by shamans.

Beliefs

Based on sheaf of bloodstained goatskin parchment and the dialogue from the wild-eyed watervine merchant, they wish to ascend to Amaranth, a city without death. There is no known way that they intend to ascend, but in Raising Indrix, the remains of a burned and pillaged goatfolk village can be seen, filled with dismembered, flayed corpses.
