Klanq is a unique fungal infection that is part of the Spread Klanq around Qud in 4 Ways of Your Choosing side quest. Pax Klanq infects the player with Klanq in exchange for agreeing to fabricate a climbing apparatus from Q Girl's design.

The player must use their Klanq infection to puff on particular randomly-selected objects in the world to complete the quest.

Like any other fungal infection, Klanq takes up a body slot and prevents the player from equipping items to that slot while they are infected.^[1] However, Pax Klanq allows the player to choose which body part will be infected.

Like other fungal infections, Klanq can infect companions if they come into contact with the spores created by the player's puff action.
