amaranthine dust is a Coda-exclusive item. It will appear in the coda village if the player has completed the quest Raising Indrix.[1] It will appear either in the inventory of the 
village apothecary if one is present, or if there is none, appear in a random building.[2]
It grants ego-based cooking effects when cooked with as an ingredient, unique to amaranthine dust. It has one possible effect: granting 
Ego Projection at either level 4 or 5.[3]
