scalding steam
Hot aerosol swells as it starts to dissipate into air.
scalding steam is a gas that is generated from water reaching vapor temperature, which is 650T. If something contacts steam, they will take 0.18 * GasDensity heat damage. If created from vaporizing water, the density is drams/20. This means a 2,000 dram pool of water will turn into a 100 density scalding steam cloud, dealing about 18 heat damage upon contact. This damage can be resisted if the object has heat resistance. [1]
