Sheba Hagadias, Librarian of the Stilt

In the narthex of the Stilt, cloistered beneath a marble arch and close to their Argent Fathers, they muse over a tattered codex. They're safe here, but it wasn't always that way. As a youngling, their own kind understood them little. Only when they were gifted a copy of the Canticles Chromaic did they learn comfort, or mirth, or reason. Their journey to the Stilt took several years, but now that they're here, Sheba seeks to consolidate all the learning of the ages tucked away in Qud's innumerable chrome nooks. Here, they prepare a residence where pilgrims can study the wisdom of others and bring themselves nearer to the divinity of the Kasaphescence.

Perfect

As the Stilt librarian, Sheba can be given books in exchange for experience points. She accepts both authored (yellow-named) and procedurally generated books, including relics, but not merchant advertisements. Generally, authored books give more experience.

Under normal circumstances, previously donated books can be read from Sheba's trade screen.
