* Mind's Compass on its own reduces the chance to get lost from 12% to 10%. Having the appropriate Wilderness Lore further reduces this below 1% if you have both.
* The travel speed bonuses are additive not multiplicative. This means you move three times as quickly when using both Mind's Compass and the appropriate Wilderness Lore skill, not four times.
* The basic chance to find an interesting encounter is 10%. The Wilderness Lore skills double this to 20%.
* The chance to regain your bearings when lost is 20% which Mind's Compass doubles to 40%.
