Lucent skin blooms beneath matted feathers. Their tiny beak is hooked.
A glowcrow is a creature belonging to the birds faction. Glowcrows can be found in the flower fields and desert canyons.[1]
Glowcrows are neutral to the player by default, but will become hostile if provoked. They attack in melee with their peck, a natural short blade weapon that deals 1d31-3 (Avg: 2) damage.[2]
Glowcrows, being birds, possess the Wings mutation at mutation level 10 and the Beak mutation.[3] Wings will allow a glowcrow to fly while on the surface, which will prevent non-flying creatures from attacking it in melee. While flying, glowcrows will have to use their Swoop ability to melee attack grounded creatures. Beak will grant a glowcrow +1 Ego; however, the beak granted by the mutation will be covered by the glowcrow's peck. Glowcrows also possess an additional mutation, Aura;[4] however, it grants them no abilities or bonuses.

Caution: This article or section contains unverified speculation and should not be considered canonical. |
- The glowcrow's Aura mutation, despite having no functionality, has an attached tag,
AuraType="Radioactive"
; this implies the glowcrow's "glow" is due to radiation.
