Salt gathers in its furrows. It's knotted with moisture-swollen wafers in place of leaves.
Watervine is a harvestable plant found in the 
salt marshes and near 
Rivers. When harvested, a ripe watervine yields a 
vinewafer. Upon creation, each watervine has a 1:20 chance of spawning ripe, and does not ripen over time. Ripe watervines can be identified by their green leaves, while the leaves of an unripe watervine are dark grey. Several patches of watervine are found in 
Joppa, which are tended by 
watervine farmers. Additionally, watervine can occasionally generate in caves, and can be found as a unique variant called 
gnawed watervine in 
Red Rock as part of the quest What's Eating the Watervine?.
