Long, golden fronds unfurl when the desert wind moistens. Pieces of its bark, collated into tiny, interlocked plates, are chewed off.

A witchwood tree is a harvestable plant that can be found within the Hills, Desert Canyons, and Jungles. Ripeness can be determined by looking at the witchwood tree's bark. Ripe trees have a red color while unripe trees are brown.

When created, they have a 1 in 75 chance of starting ripe. They do not "ripen" later if they spawn unripe.
