In stagnant pools, luminous lilies compete with the ribbon of stars in the night sky. Under the salt sun, though, they shrink into the shade of brine weed.

The salt marsh is one of the safest areas of world map terrain, because it contains the lowest-tier creatures and has very few other threats. Players who choose to begin in the default starting village of Joppa will begin surrounded by this terrain.
