It's laminated jelly molded as a globoid with pores to filter and nosh algae, and it jiggles.
A bop sponge is a harvestable resource that can be found within the 
Palladium Reef. When harvested, a ripe bop sponge will yield a single 
bop cheek. Upon creation, each bop sponge has a 1:8 chance of spawning ripe and does not ripen over time. A ripe bop sponge can be identified by their light blue color, while an unripe bop sponge has darker blue color. Unlike most harvestables, when a ripe bop sponge is harvested, the sponge will be destroyed.
