desert canyons
Long ago the rivers themselves were ravenous, and they feasted on shale and limestone before taking bloated respite in the Great Salt Sea. Now the fissure-wounds have rotted to crimson and salt.
The desert canyons are a type of terrain found in the western part of the world map. They are home mostly to lower-level creatures and are generally one of the safer areas for new characters to explore.
