A heavy, translucent egg-shaped device.
A phase shift grenade mk I is a thrown weapon which, when thrown, reverses the phased state of anything in a 5x5 square centered around the target. The phasing effect lasts 9-11 turns.
Phase shift grenades cannot be modified with phase-conjugate but can be modified with phase-harmonic. However, an unmodified phase shift grenade currently (as of 2.0.201.106) affects both in-phase and out-of-phase units universally as though they were already phase-harmonic, making this an ineffective use of two photonics.
Phase shift grenades do not exist in higher grades than mk I.
