- Chimera characters occasionally develop a roots slot, allowing this item to be equipped for a substantial AV bonus.
- A clay pot may be obtained from
Asphodel, Earl of Omonporch (by trade or water ritual) or 
Tillifergaewicz (on the floor nearby). 
Sixshrew also has a clay pot but will not part with it willingly.
