Girsh Shug'ruith the Burrower

A creature of immensity mounts the upper eyeline. Tunnel-steeled rings of extruded wormgut belch shale dust like cavern rain, and a colony of starspines grow across its sloping world-back. In a wreath around its pitting mouth, a hundredish eyes have grown to drink every photon out the jeweled and sunless haunts of yesterearth. Finally, irisdual light churning under its tx-glass skin is filtered to a smoke and citrine hue and radiates out of body in lituus spirals.

Girsh Shug'ruith the Burrower is one of the six Girsh Nephilim. It can be found in any zone of the map that does not include a static encounter; it generates a tunnel whose entrance is known as the "mouth of Shug'ruith" on the surface that descends 30 to 35 strata down to its cradle proper.
