fractus
A particularly prickly peano patch.
Fracti are a type of plant which are most commonly found growing in the Stiltgrounds.
Prickle Effect
If a creature who is neutral with or disliked by Succulents walks over a fractus plant, the following effects occur:[1]
- The creature suffers 1 damage.
- The creature will splatter blood over one or more adjacent tiles. This can result in the formation of a pool of blood (or whatever alternate type of liquid that the creature bleeds). This is an isolated single-turn effect; it is not the same as bleeding.
Creatures that are liked by Succulents (250 reputation or greater) will experience no effect when walking over a fractus plant.
Harvesting
A fractus is a harvestable plant that can be found within the salt dunes or Stiltgrounds. When harvested, a ripe fractus will yield a single spine fruit. Upon creation, each fractus has a 1:50 chance of spawning ripe and does not ripen over time. A ripe fractus can be identified by their magenta spines, while an unripe fractus has white spines.
