CastNet

cast net

Flax was mowed from the Bowl of Iris, stripped into fibers, and weaved into a soft grid by the fisherfolk of the Pale Sea.

Perfect

The cast net is a thrown weapon that is the signature weapon of snapjaw trappers. When the cast net is thrown and it hits a target, it will apply the stuck effect on the target for a duration of 12 turns, with a Strength save of difficulty 20. The stuck effect will not work when the cast net is used as a melee weapon.

Thrown Weapon Behavior

Main article: Thrown weapon combat

Like all thrown weapons:

  • The cast net's throwing penetration is unaffected by strength.[1]
  • If the cast net is used as a melee weapon, it acts only as a 4/4 ♥1d21-2 (Avg: 1.5) cudgel weapon.[2]
