A full-scale continental shelf of half-calcified, star-orchid body mass creeps over the earth, sending stone, chrome, wood, and brass to quivers. Hundreds of thousands of underspines convey its quincunx of cyclopean arms into motion, and a delta of subducting stomach muscle sticks and subsumes matter into its somatic star-bounds. In its wake an arcology of disarranged world-fragments is raised.

Star krakens are Mysterious strangers who behave similarly to salt krakens, moving slowly and swallowing up items and creatures in front of them. Like salt krakens, they are initially peaceful to the player, but standing in front of one can cause Instant death.

In addition to their swallowing ability, they possess five cyclopean arms (5d5/➡32), all Dual Wield skills and Regeneration at level 20, making them extremely formidable.

The items which appear in the wake of a star kraken's passing are significantly more varied; these can include high tier artifacts, rare corpses, unusual liquids, gas clouds and walls of various materials.
