glowsphere
This opaline, phosphorescent globe fits into the palm of a human hand and glows with the light of auroras absorbed eons ago.
A glowsphere is a light source of light radius 8 which, unlike a torch, will never burn out. A glowsphere must be carried in a hand slot to provide light.
Trivia
- Prior to patch 2.0.201.67, glowspheres could be carried in the thrown weapon slot and still provide light. This allowed dual wielding or carrying other objects in one's hands.[1]
- Prior to patch 2.0.201.62, Joppa's warden, Warden Ualraig, always carried a glowsphere that could be purchased for a fairly reasonable price. The warden no longer carries a glowsphere, and its price has been significantly increased.
