The neck-ring is always generated with the blood-stained effect, causing its alternate name, the blood-stained neck-ring to likely be more familiar to most players.[1] However, the stains can be removed by using the (c)lean interaction option in-game.
The neck-ring provides a significant boost to reputation with Baboons, which can usually prevent them from being hostile to the player.
