Inside the insulated cask of the battery, the electromotive apparatus cracks the energy out of lava and converts it to electrical charge.
A thermoelectric cell is a Liquid Fueled Energy Cell which is powered by lava.
A thermoelectric cell can hold up to 8 drams of lava. At 5,000 charge per dram, this gives it an effective maximum capacity of 40,000 charge.
Unlike traditional liquid holding containers like the waterskin or canteen, the thermoelectric cell and all other liquid fueled energy cells can withstand the high heat of lava. However, the thermoelectric cell is the only one that is able to use the lava for charge.
