Yd Freehold recoiler
A small crystalline disk with a recessed button on top.
The Yd Freehold recoiler teleports the player to Yd Freehold when used. A properly charged energy cell must be installed, and it cannot be used when in combat or while hostile enemies are nearby.
For more information about recoilers, refer to the recoiler page.
Tips
This section is opinion-based. Your mileage may vary.
- Recoilers are a handy means of travelling to different locations in the world without the risk of getting lost.
- The recoiler's destination can make for a good storage site for loot that the player doesn't want to carry around with them, since that location can be returned to at will.
- Surrounding oneself with a Force Bubble or similar can allow the use of a recoiler even if hostile enemies are nearby, as long as those enemies have no clear AI path to the player.
