Black marble was rasped into a vaulted canvas of emptiness, and then left, inspiring wonder at what could have been.
This color variant of sultan murals appears in all outdoor locations where sultan murals are present, such as Ezra or Omonporch. This variant of mural only appears for murals associated with the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th period sultanate.
Almost all murals found outdoors will be one of the "ruined" variants.[1] However, Ezra will always host a preserved sultan mural that is not ruined.[2][3]
Ruined murals will have a dynamically generated description that states:
The tomb mural depicts a significant event from the life of the ancient sultan *SultanName*, but it's no longer legible. |
Blank murals will instead have the default description noted at the top of this page.
Speculation
- One could conjecture that this brownish coloration is intended to represent a weathered or washed out look for murals that appear outside the Tomb of the Eaters.
