Odd metal tubes.
A metal folding chair is a metal chair that can be sat on. When unidentified, it is displayed as "strange tubes"; this is not the only unidentified artifact that uses this name. The metal folding chair has a chair level of 0, which means there is a +2 bonus to identifying artifacts and a +1/10 bonus to natural HP healing.
Unlike other furniture, metal folding chairs are able to generate with item mods that are reserved for melee weapons, such as electrified or counterweighted. Also unlike most other furniture, it cannot be animated.
As a melee weapon
The chair does not have any specified weapon stats, so it will default to the weapon type and damage of any other item wielded that is not intended to be a melee weapon: a cudgel that deals 1d21-2 (Avg: 1.5) damage with a max PV of 4. Due to its low tier, elemental mods will also only deal 1 damage of their respective element.
Tips
Because a metal folding chair is an artifact which can easily be "identified" by its unique description and has little practical use, a Metal folding chair is an excellent candidate for giving to Argyve to complete the Fetch Argyve a Knickknack and Fetch Argyve Another Knickknack quests.
