In the process of mutating.
You start to feel unstable. |
mutating is an effect that is caused by getting hit by a gamma moth's mutating gaze. After some period of time, mutation points, a defect, or a mutation will be gained.
Mutating Result
If a creature is mutating due to a gamma moth, there will be an incubation period of 100 player turns before the full effects appear.[1] Once these 100 turns are up, there is a chance of either gaining a new mutation, defect, or mutation points.

in PopulationTables.xml.
Chimera and Esper does not alter what kind of mutations are gained from this.
If the mutating creature already has all mutations in a specific category (all mutations or all defects), and that category is chosen, the mutation result will do nothing.
