Convalessence is an uncommon liquid that is most often found within the depths of Bethesda Susa. It can also sometimes be found sold by certain merchants, such as kippers.
Upon stepping into a puddle of convalessence, all objects will have their temperature decrease by -20T. All organic creatures will heal 1 HP a turn if they end their turn in a puddle of convalessence.
Evaporation
The default temperature for convalessence is 25°. Interestingly enough, when convalessence freezes at the default -100T, it will transform into cryogenic mist instead of freezing.
Sources of Convalessence
- blue jells will explode into 2,000 drams of it each in the surrounding 9 tiles upon death. They also bleed convalessence.
- Found on the ground of Bethesda Susa, especially in the healing pools.
- Inside regeneration tanks, also in Bethesda Susa.
- The alchemist is guaranteed to have one dram of convalessence for sale.
Uses for Convalessence
- Passive healing
- Has two cooking effects: Cold-based cooking effects, and Regeneration and healing-based cooking effects.
- Used inside regeneration tanks to remove negative status effects (and regenerate limbs, if mixed with cloning draught)
Consuming Convalessence
Drinking convalessence returns the following message:
It's effervescent! |
Doing so does not influence hydration in any way.
